2012 Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards - Calling for Nominations
Nominations for the 2012 Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards are now open. Our nurses and midwives play an enormous role in the care of Territorians and now is the opportunity to nominate a nurse or midwife who excels in their role for these prestigious awards. You can also encourage others to nominate an excellent nurse or midwife. Nominations can be made for the following categories:
Aged, Disability and Residential Care;
Enrolled Nurse;
Education, Research and Innovation;
Graduate of the year
Hospital Network;
Leadership;
Living Legend;
Mental Health;
Midwifery;
Remote Health; and
Urban Primary Health Care Services.
All winners will receive $500 and the overall nurse or midwife of the year will take home the grand prize of $2000.
Currently Top End is experiencing a change in the seasons from the dry and we are now moving into the wet season. In Central Australia the weather is warming up and there are plenty of sunny days and many opportunities for activities when not at work.
